bonzofimbres The Sui-Generis finding. Mixed impressions.

At the beginning the psicodelia and the powerful drums pointed to the acid metal. Dark Atmospheres but prog at the same time appear after those melodies and flutes.
Tangerine ambients got together with the fast rhythms.

There are riffs full of A Fripp vibe occurring at the same time with fast and complex time keys, jazz fusion chord progressions mixed with fast drumming.
Influences are so vast, even Brufford and Holdsworth vibes between .

ronaldmarquiss I have to thank all the musicians who worked on this CD! Truly an amazing album. All the proceeds go to a great cause, Friday Night Progressives broadcast. And thank you to all that support independent music.
Tenk Van Dool

Tenk Van Dool Mysterious atmospheres and uber creative. Top of the line drum work. Favorite track: Sorry We're Closed (24bit 48k).
Nickie Harte Kelly

Nickie Harte Kelly A fanciful outing from Ronald Marquiss in the US and musical friends from all over the world, so much territory covered and so ably by all, one might say it is universal in scope. Additionally, all funds go to benefit Friday Night Progressive, a stalwart on the progressive music netwaves and a show that is so supportive of the community. Favorite track: Two is Better Than One (24bit 48k).

Reviews
After about 4 or 5 spins of this one, I finally am compelled to comment on the album of music that reached my ears.

This is Top Shelf stuff here and the band members bring it together. There's not a wasted track, no fillers, and definitely not boring. Great use of keyboards and synths...no, wait, make that Exceptional use of keyboards and synths.

The liner notes say there are 6 songs here but it's at least 12 if not more, short, interesting pieces that stick with you. My only complaint about the album is that I finished listening and found myself wanting more. And I wished it were released on CD as well. Other than that, BIG Thumbs up...!
